He immigrated to the USA in 1892 and settled in Columbus, GA.. He was a musician and his passport gives his occupation as "Professor of Music". He changed his name to Mike Rose and had an orchestra, The Mike Rose Italian Band, that performed in Columbus approximately 1900-1922. Sunday afternoons in what is now Lakebottom was a favotite venue. He died in 1922 and is buried in Linwood Cemetery. I am looking for any information on Mike Rose and his band.
