His name was Cicero Augustus Gibson.He lived at 1312 -18 th St. cause of death was gangrene due to diabetes. Obit >> C.A. Gibson passes here, Former Officer dies 8:00 - 17 May 1932 Tues, Columbus Ga.Well know citizen dies. Born 27 Apr 1859 Greenville Al. buried Riverdale Cemetery. Parents Robert O.Gibson,(died in Civil War)Mary Jane Clarke. Mary Jane Clake was the daug of Benjamine Clark and mother Reese. CA Gibson was married to Virginia Lanora Rodgers( daug of James McCurdy Rodgers and Caroline Amelia Poole) their children were Gussie Olive Gibson (Reese) Lester Gibson, Walter Gibson,Jim Gibson, and Gertha Gibson (Fred Huff) Gussie Olive Gibson Reese was my grandmother.
