From some cause, which we could not learn, they got into a dispute over the game, and WELCHER shot WILLIAMS, the ball entering the forehead just above the right eye. Drs. GRIMES jr,. [sic] and JOHNSON were called in , and did all they could for the wounded man. They probed for the ball, but could not determine where it had lodged. WILLIAMS, we understand, is in a perfect “rough;” WELCHER is represented to be a very quiet, orderly man.
