They lived near Columbus until about 1832 when they migrated to Macon Cnty AL. John had a cousin-John Cooper that moved about the same time in the same direction, from Richland SC to Muscogee GA,to Macon AL. There was also a William Cooper near them. Not sure what relation he was to Duncan or John Cooper.
