    3. Hi all, This past weekend I attended a workshop entitled "Gone But Not Forgotten" in Valley, AL. It was sponsored by the Chattahoochee Valley Historical Society. The speakers / instructors were: Joyce Nicoll, Founding President and current Treasurer of the Alabama Cemetery Preservation Alliance: Lee Anne Wofford, Cemetery Program Coordinator, Alabama Historical Commission; Christine Van Voorhies, Archaeology Outreach Specialist, Historic Preservation Division, Georgia Department of Natural Resources; Charles Thomas, Preservationist-Mason. Straight from a handout from Christine Van Voorhies, Archaeology Outreach Specialist, Historic Preservation Division, Georgia Department of Natural Resources: For Cemetery Issues in Georgia See our website at www.gashpo.or. Cemetery preservation information is under Archaeological Services. There is a lot of info on the site and links to other sites also. I hope some of this helps someone.
