    3. Someone else my have more accurate or up-to-date information, but according to my database: Burrell LEE (ca. 1789 Columbia Dist, SC - OCT 1896 AL?) was the son of Burrell LEE (Sr.), who d. after 1865, and his wife Alsie. The younger Burrell is said to have m1. ca. 1836? GA or AL? to Mahala UNKNOWN (ca. 1818 GA-ca. 1853-54 Muscogee Co, GA?). I show seven children for them, evidently all b. in Muscogee Co, GA, the last b. ca. 1851. The family perhaps lived in or near the portion of Muscogee that became Chattahoochee Co. on 13 FEB 1854 because, after Mahala's death, Burrell m2. 03 NOV 1856 in Chattahoochee Co, GA, to Nancy Ann PATE - sister of John Jordan PATE who m. 09 OCT 1856 to Rebecca A. "Becky" LEE, daughter of Burrell by first wife Mahala. Mahala LEE appears on a membership roll of Mt. Paran Primitive Baptist Church in Muscogee Co. between 1837 and 1846, and was dismissed by letter before 1848 (per a summary in ROGERS' History of Chattahoochee Co, GA, p. 84). If we could locate the original records, we might be able to pinpoint these dates more precisely. To what church did Mahala move her letter of membership? Church records sometimes note the deaths of members. Did she later move her membership back to Mt. Paran? Note that Rebecca LEE appears on the Mt. Paran rolls sometime between 1849 and 1855 (ibid, p. 85). John in TX Tabsgran2@aol.com wrote: >Martha, >Re below...Do you know who this Burrell LEE was related to ??
