Rutledge who married a Martha Cathrine Roland in Muscogee, Georgia, October 28th, 1853. Martha is found in Hill Co., Texas by 1860 married to John Fuller. I don't know what became of Mr. Rutledge. Martha Catherine ( Roland ) Rutledge had at least one son by Rutledge that we know of named Joseph born in Texas. Joseph is the half brother of my Great Grandmother Ida Iola McDavid. Martha Had been married four times. If anyone is lookinfg for a J.W. Rutledge from the Muscogee area, you might want to look into Texas unless he was killed or died prior to Martha's move to Texas.
