    3. Hello all, Over the last several weeks, I have been updating the Muscogee County website. http://www.rootsweb.com/~gamuscog/index.htm One of the pages that I am currently looking at is our "Noted Personalities". I am shocked that there are only 2 personalities from Muscogee County listed. Would ya'll put on your thinking caps and see if you can't come up with other personalities from Muscogee County. Also, if you have something that should be added to our site, please let me know. The cemetary is run by the city. I don't know the exact hours but they should be open weekdays from 9 to 4. I usually go in the afternoon after lunch. Do you live far away? I am not sure if they are open on the weekends. The Bradley library has some cemetary listings as well. They have a pretty good genealogy section. The people there are real helpful. I might go by next week and see what I find. I have a couple of people to look up.

    2. John Mallory Land
    3. Tracy, I found the following on the Social Security Death Index (perhaps too early to be yours?): Charlie PIERCE, b. 06 APR 1893, d. OCT 1975, SS# 258-07-8200, issued in GA, last residence ZIP code 31906 (Columbus, Muscogee Co, GA). If this is the man you're looking for, an obituary might give you further clues, including place of burial. I did not find a Charlie PIERCE associated with Russell Co, AL (as you probably know, Phenix City is just across the river from Columbus), or a Charles Pierce associated with either Muscogee Co, GA, or Russell Co, AL. I also did not find an Estelle PIERCE or a Patricia PIERCE associated with either of these counties. Hope this helps in some way, John in TX Teakayishere@aol.com wrote: >Charlie Pierce married Estelle Patricia Robinson b: Abt. 1913. > >Charlie and Estelle Patricia were living in Columbus GA in 1954. 3. I am trying to find someone who might have access to marriage and divorce records in Muscogee County that could do a lookup for me for John Edgar Brown and the bride would either be Mary "Molly" Myers or Mary "Molly' Logan. There should be a divorce on her too. I don't know if she married Logan first or second. There also may be a marriage for her to a Newton Oliver Bly. She did an awful lot in her 105 years, but she was married to Bly the longest, 40+ years. Any help in this is much appreciated. I don't know if her middle name was Margaret, Alice or Louise, may even have been Elizabeth as she shows up with different names. Margaret Smile and make people wonder what you have been up to. The bigger the smile, the more they will wonder. _________________________________________________________________ Tired of spam?
