There could be a link from my gggGrandfather Josiah Burkett who enlisted into Avery's Calvery from Murray Co, GA on Oct. 4, 1862. We have found 1850 and 1860 Census' in Murray Co. listing a Josiah in the house of Abraham Burger. Most of the suspected siblings match also. Can anyone help confirm this match or disprove it? Suspected siblings were Henry K. Burkett enlisted into GA state Guard from Murray Co., Jasper Burkett, and Lucy Burkett. All three resided in McMinn Co., TN after the Civil War and Died there.
