She attended my grandfather's brother's funeral in Hillsboro, Texas in 1935 and in the funeral announcements is listed as 'Mrs. Jonas Dunn' in one place and as 'Mrs. Mattie Dunn' in another spot. Do you have any info on this Jonas Dunn? and his wife, of course. Mattie Dunn must have maintained some contact with the family in Texas because I have several pictures of her from my grandparents' "stuff". The only Jonas Dunn I can find married a 'Florentine Corbin', had a bunch of kids and I think ended up in Chattanooga. One of grandad's sisters was a 'Mary E. F. Corbin' (b November 1861-GA). Mattie may be a nickname? The 'F.' could be Florentine? My grandad left Murray County in 1900 and moved to Texas. His brother had moved earlier, in 1892/93. My g-grandad, Chesley Davis Corbin, is buried in Holly Creek Cemetery just outside of Chatsworth. We have not been able to find our g-grandmother, Elizabeth G. Neal Corbin, who must have died in about 1907/8 (she didn't renew his CW pension in 1908). Chesley Davis's father, Yerby Corbin, had moved into GA from SC in the 1830's I would appreciate any info you might have and of course am willing to share all I have. Ray Corbin
