The family was Household # 761-21, Dist. 1013, Fancy Hill P.O., in the 1860 Murray Co., Census. He was 26, b. SC, Martha was 20, b. GA, with child, Margaret L. 10 mos. old, b. GA. Samuel N. was the son of Jacob Holland of Cherokee Co., AL, 1850 census and Murray Co., GA 1860 census. Deed of his wife, Elizabeth, Murray Co. Deed Bk L, p. 109, proves this. Other ch. of Jacob & Elizabeth named in deed were: Francis J., Sarah, Elizabeth, Harriett, Emeline, Mariah, Katharine, Henry and Antonet. My ancestor was another JACOB HOLLAND, who was in Forsyth Co., GA 1840, Walker Co., Ga. 1850, Whitfield Co., GA 1860. Would love to hear from anybody about this family.
