has anyone whose ancestors came from murray/whitefield county ever heard of a chilling tale of lyncing down there in the early twenties or thirties. i have just been told one of my ancestors was lynched in murray/whitefield county during that time period. his name was alonzo mccamy-afro american and he had a son named al mccamy that was sentenced to prison during that time. anyone remember any old stories about this contact me. thanks.
