I am looking for any information I can find about my Wilson side of the family. The following is some information I have. My gggrandfather, Edward Wilson was born in N.C. on July 20, 1827. He married Elizabeth Burleson or Burlinson in the 1850's and moved to Murray Co., Georgia. He is listed on the 1860 census along with Elizabeth and some of the children. The children are listed as follows: Mary Rebecca b. 1849 m. unk. Knight children: Abie Clem Callie Minnie Nancy Jane b. 1850 Susan Elmira b. 1852 m.R.T. Willerson children: Jim Elizabeth Willis Georgia Ella Hattie Alice Alvira Elizabeth b.1854 m. John Johnson Murray Co. 1/7/1873. William b. 1856 d. 1928 Martha Lucinda b. 1858 m. J. Adcock John W. Wilson b. 1860 d. 1940 m. Minnie E. Kirk b. 1870 d. 1940(moved to Oklahoma). children:Mamie P. Ennis C. Lois M. McManus George Edward b. 1861 d. 1934 m. Nancy Belle Ludwick 1869-1942(my ggrandparents) children: William Leonard b. 1886(moved to Washington State) Clara b. 1888 m. Winfred S. Emmons (LA.) Ella Mae b. 1890 m Andrew Berry Milton Edward b. 1893 d. 1925 m. Mary Lucille Quine (my grandparents) (My father was an only child, also Milton Edward) Arthur b. 1896(moved to California) George Thomas b. 1898 Marietta b. 1904 m. unk. Bruner Harriett Catherine b. 1864 d. 1951 m. Daniel Thomas Boatright 1858-1951 Issac b. 1867 d. 1879 If any of this sounds familiar to anyone, I would be glad to share othe rinformation I have. In addition, I believe Edward's father may have been named William and was from N.C. He may have been married to a woman with the last name Roland or Rowland. Edward may have had a brother named George, who was a Baptist Minister. Elizabeth's parents may have been from Ireland according to some census records. All of Edward and Elizabeth's children show to be born in Murray Co. Thanks Mike Wilson
