    3. Ladies and Gentlemen, The "Official Military Atlas of the Civil War" is available at many libraries and is a useful tool in research. Their two maps mentioned are pretty good but the level of detail will not really supply the level of detail of finding individual houses unless the house still exists or it was near a natural of man-made terrain feature that still exist and you can orient from. You can find the book at the Chattanooga Public Library and I think the Dalton Public Library. The book is meant to be the companion volume of maps to the "Official Records of the War of the Rebellion." I hope this helps. Respectfully, Gerald D.
