Is there anything in the book about the 22nd Ga. Inf., i think Co. D. or maybe it was C, i'm not looking at my notes right now. my gggrandfather John Carden served in that company and was captured at Gettysburg and spent most of the war in Point Lookout prison. i live in NW Alabama so i don't have access to many Ga. records except for those online. Since you live in Murray County, you can get it at the Whitfield Murray county Historical Society, 715 Chattanooga Ave. , in Dalton. See Marcella White , the Director. She also has copies of the minutes of the meetings of the Camp along with lists of the officers, delegates to conventions, etc. It would be well worth your time to visit her and read this material.
