Hi Shirley, I really don't know if there is a connection or not. My Richard was married to Martha White, daughter of William White and Rachel Treadwell. They had several children, one of which was Mary Elizabeth Mobley. This Mary Mobley married Samuel Anderson James and was my g-g-grandmother. But, I know next to nothing about Richard H. Mobley so far as parents or siblings are concerned. Thanks for the query.
