    3. Louise, I am not sure to whom you are responding. The census probably wouldn't help, but I have Stones that moved thru Murray Co in the timespan 1805-1830 or so. Problem is that I'm not sure of the first names, tho two might have been James and William. Are there Stone entries in the Heritage Book? ron ...and to you, and the list, is there something I can look up here in Sacramento? 3. Ron, I was responding to you. I have several Stone's listed in the Murray County Heritage book. One has a short family history written up in the book: The James Stone Family. Some highlights: South Carolina born, James Stone and Rachel Ellison were married Feb 8, 1829, Cherokee County, GA. James and Rachel moved later into Walton County, GA where James Stone Jr, the author's gr-gr-grandfather, was born. James was born Aug 1, 1838 and married Mary Roberts, Jan 19, 1860 at Tilton, GA James and Mary had six children: Ginger, Emmer, Sally, John, Lulu and Robert Lee Stone who was born Oct. 2, 1864. If any of this sounds familiar, I can scan or copy more for you. Louise
