thank you so much for all your help. isaac mccamy/mccamey was married to maxine(mackey) thompson. we dont know where. there were several children listed in 1880 census murray county ga. mattie,spencer cant remember them all. the area was called shuck pen or pen shuck. isaac listed his birthplace as tn and mackey as va. we dont know how they got to ga. do you have an address for whitfield/murray historical society and i will write them to see if they can help. i will also check to see if they have an e-mail adress. thank you again
