Would Amanda Cross have had a sister named Mary.? I'm trying to find the parents of Mary Cross in Murray Co. from 1840-1880, who married Henry T. McEntire & left Georgia in `1881. Jan Newman

Jan, Amanda was the daughter of James M. Strawn and his first wife, Lucinda Cross. I have no information on any of Lucinda Cross's family other then the family she had with James M. Strawn. They had five children all born in Murray Co. before James left Lucinda , remarried and left the area. These five children were Amanda E. Strawn ( b. 1848 ), Nancy Jane Strawn ( b.1850 ), William Erwin Strawn ( b. 1852 ), Margaret M. Strawn ( b. 1855 ) and George Washington Strawn ( b. 1858 ).
