Dear Miss Nicholson, I noticed you are researching Bates Surname. I found a little confusion with my Great Grandmother's name. Her name was Martha Robins. She married James C. Henton. The Bates geneology had a Martha Robins married a James C. Henton. I found this was not correct. I guess there were two Martha Robins, the one that married into the Bates family married a man by the name of Anderson. They moved to Montgomery County Arkansas. I was just wondering if you had heard anything about the Martha that did marry James C. Henton. I also am trying to find information on my Great Grandfather Benjamin Franklin Jackson (Frank). He lived in Spring Place. He married a woman by the name of Green. I cannot find what happened to her but I know she gave birth to my Grandfather in Waverly Tenn.
