My Grandfather John Ball Williamson was born in Gordon County in 1850 and moved to Springplace as a small boy. He married Mary Farmer and bought a house lot in Springplace in 1872. Is there someone who could check the 1870 and 1880 census records for information about him? I am particularly interested in his occupation. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
