Hi Jan I am wondering who your ggg/father was? Last night I found a website on the 39th. Our ancestor was Osborn R. Williams and he was with the 39th CO B. He joined at the beginning March 10, 1862, and was captured at Franklin DEC 17, 1864. He was sent to prison camp at Camp Chase, Ohio until his release June 12, 1865.
