    2. Did somebody ask about Jacob Holland who was a J.P. in Sevier Co., TN in 1833? This man was a Soldier of the War of 1812, enlisted from Sevier Co. 8 Jan 1814. According to a letter, written by Mrs. A.O. Huber of Athens, TN, filed with pension # SC 25553, Jacob was born in Cocke Co, TN 24 Dec 1792. He also served in the Mexican War, enlisted at Ft. Leavenworth in Co. C, Separate Battn Missouri Mounted Volunteers In 1847. lived in Platte Co., Mo, in Gentry Co., Mo. 1858. During Civil War in Worth Co., MO, in 1871 DeKalb Co., Mo., in 1880 Worth Co., Mo. Died at home of son-in-law Benj. Cunningham, DeKalb Co., Maysville P.O. His wife was Elizabeth Warren, whom he m. 20 Dec 1810. In 1847 Nathaniel Holland made affadavit. No relationship shown. What, if any, connection is there between this man and the other Hollands?
