I am looking for information on Wetzel's or Witzel's. They would have moved into Murray County probably after 1820. A Jacob Wetzel Jr. was born 1806 in Buncombe Co., NC and died in Murray Co., GA before 1850. His wife was Elizabeth 'Betsy' (King) Wetzel. The only known children are Elener Elmira Jane Wetzel b. abt. 1825 Sarah Wetzel b. abt. 1827 Benjamin C. Wetzel b. abt. 1829 Daniel King Wetzel b. abt. 1843 I would appreciate any additional children, or any more information at all on these persons! Thanks ever so much, Wylene

My great-grandfather was Thomas Ebenezer Witzel b. 1851 d. 1929 and I have more information I can share with . I will e-mail to you when I can get it together. I am pushed for time today.
