Leo, My grgranddad, William Carter, and his family, including my granddad, Stephen Goodson Carter, migrated to Spring Place, Murray Co. GA in 1846 and ,judging from the number of Carters shown on the census, both before and after that time, I feel that I had other relatives there as well.
