Anyone who has shared research with me (or Southern Muse), and is interested in descendants of Jacob P. Headrick + Mary "Polly" Rice, might want to get back in touch. I originally had Jacob's death date as "before 1870." Then someone sent me a specific date of death in 1880. I was glad to get specifics, and entered the 1880 date in my file based on that source. Now, I have found various interesting things that indicate that he probably did die before 1870 (probably 1865-1866).
