I am trying to locate my g-g-g grandfather, Jerry Smith and my g-g-g grandmother who was a Dulaney or Delaney. I got this information from my g-g grandfather, George Washington Smith's death certificate from Falls County, Texas. This information shows that George was born in Towns County, Georgia and his mother's first name is not listed, just the maiden name of Dulaney (or could be Delaney). There is a Mary L. Smith with her son, George Smith, in Shuck Pen, Murray County on the 1880 Census. It shows that she is a widow and would have been born around 1826. This George Smith's birth year, of 1864, is correct with what is found on the death certificate and his tombstone in Lott, Falls County, Texas.
