I have a Lester Arnold Headrick (b.3 Jan 1906; d.6 Feb. 1962 in Murray Co., GA). According to the death index, his death certificate lists his parents as: Henry Hill Headrick and Martha J. Dunn. Yet some researchers don't include him as a son of Henry Hill Headrick and Josie Dunn. Is it possible that there are two Henry Hill Headricks who married J. Dunns in Murray County? Could Lester have been called by a nickname, and his real name not recognized by younger acquaintances and researchers? Or is the death certificate wrong, which often happens, depending upon the informant? Since he lived a long life, it doesn't seem possible that he would be overlooked. Also, I've found a tombstone at Calvary Baptist for: Nora, dau. of H.H. & M.J. Headrick, died Mar. 1, 1905, age 1 day. Since Henry Hill Headrick and Josie Dunn had a daughter named "Ora," it seems likely to me that the same couple had this child, "Nora." No family researchers have included this child, but often, these children who die young often get left out of family charts and verbal family histories.
