Randall, I am searching for husband of Roslinda (Malinda or Lindy) Howell. She married a James Callahan, about 1850/54. Her parents were: Pinkney Howell & Elizabeth (Haygood) Howell of Murray Co. Her sister Rosella married John Evans. Sisters and brothers: James F., Mariah, Bennett, Sarah A. and Thomas. Any infomation will be appreciated. Louise
I am still trying to find the name of the first wife of my Great Grandfather Benjamin Franklin JACKSON I think he went by the name of Frank. He was born around Spring Place in 1840. He married I think just after the Civil war. He went to Waverly Tenn. where my grandfather Thomas Lee Jackson was born in 1868. A sister also was born there. I find my GGrandfather in 1870 in Mulberry Arkansas with a new wife. I don't know if the first wife died or what happened. Her last name was GREEN.
Please, kind person who is doing marriage lookups, may I request one? For Harrison McDonald and Cornelia McG(h)ee? Circa 1852? Many thanks! Hi List, Since the list has been so active lately I thought I would try again. Does anyone out there have any information on John Henry O'Neill born abt 1810 died in Murray County( date unknown). John Henry married first Mary Ann Cleveland who died in Murray Co. unknown date. He then married Mary Delaney Whitamore in 1861. The son of Mary D and J.H. O'neill John Henry O'neill Jr. (my great Grandfather) born 9/29/1863 died 7/4/1933 married Missouri Edmondson all are buried in the O;Neill cemetery in Eton. When I was in Eaton I was told that the O'Neill spring located on the O'Neill homeplace now supplies some of the water for the city of Eaton. There is an Annie M. Riordon wife of P. H. Riordon buried in the O'Neill cemetery. Does anyone know the maiden name of Annie ? Was she an O'neill ?? I would also like any information on the family of Mary Delaney Whitamore. I have been told that Mary Delaney was living next door to John Henry O'Neill with the Loughridge family in 1860 census but have not seen the census. J. H. O'Neill first wife Mary Ann Cleveland was the sister of Lucinda Cleveland wife of Benjamin Loughridge. ANY HELP will be appreciated. I can't seem to get past what I have. Thanks for any help, Mary

I have definite info on my family of "Crawford" in Cherokee Co. in 1838-39. While visiting Chief Vann house in Spring Place, I found a Mr. Crawford @ 1804, who was the chiefs overseer. He is also mentioned in the Moravian texts. I found some Crawfords at Spring Place cemetary on your website. My family,Thomas Crawford, then moved to Gordon Co., then Floyd Co. at time of Civil War, then to TN. My grandmother was a Crawford. I presently reside in Chattanooga and have sincerely enjoyed visiting the NW Georgia area in my search. Any suggestions/info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Rssrn

Unfortunately, Georgia did not keep good records until about the time of WWII. My GGGgrandfather died in 1936, and he does not have a death certificate. I do not know whether the funeral home neglected to turn it in or what. Just thought I would let you know. Although sometimes if the funeral home is still in business, they might have something. I do not know how likely that is in this case. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kay Eary" <keary@catt.com> To: <GAMURRAY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, November 08, 2001 10:06 PM Subject: Re: [MURRAY] Death records > I, too, am trying to find out if my ggrandfather died in Murray Co.
