The 1850 Murray County Census lists the following members of the family: Martha F. Anglin (35 years old) Mary A. (17) Benjamin Newton (16) Sarah E.(14) David S.(11) William J. (9) John L. (7) Doctor M.(5) (Doch Rubin) Frances (5) Sarah (2) Martha (1) Benjamin Newton Anglin went on to Union County, La. and Columbia County, Ark. His father was William S.Anglin (b.about 1801 in wilkes Co. Ga.) . His grandfather was David Anglin (b. about 1756 in Orange County, N.C.).
