    3. To get copies of military service records, go to http://www.nara.gov/ Click on the Research Room then on the left of the screen go to Order forms for Military and Family History Records. You can get copies of muster rolls, sickness and wound records, etc. I haven't ordered for several years, and the cost used to be very reasonable. Don't know what it is now. 3. I'm sorry, but I guess I assumed that the Benjamin in the Jackson Cemetery was the son of William and Lucy W. Morris Jackson. Our family record has his birth as 25 Feb. 1845 and death 21 Sept. !863. Perhaps ours and the man on the military record are two different men. My record, which was sent to me from a descendant of the Jackson line, has our Benjamin as Benjamin Floyd and didn't you say yours was Benjamin Franklin? I am a descendant of Lucy White Morris Jackson's brother, Eppy White Morris, who was in Murray County at two different times, but finally moved back to Franklin County. Maybe the military record from the Murray County site is for yours, since it says B.F. Jackson received monthly pay in October and November 1863, and our B. F. Jackson died in September. I think this needs a little more research. Thanks for writing. We need these two men to have their own story. Let me know if you find anything else to clear it up and I will do the same. 2. Thank you for the list. I am not sure if that is my family. The military record for Benjamin is the same one I have, but there was another Benjamin around Dalton too. I think he was from a well known family in Dalton. Are you related to the Benjamin of the army record. He showed up again in North Carolina at the end of the war and surrendered there. 3. Hi Bill, Are you by chance using an older version of Netscape? If so, that is the problem. I use the newest version to check my pages in and it comes up for me. I have repeatedly tried changing the html coding so it will come up in the older versions but can not get it to work with them and still be valid on the other browsers. It works perfectly in all browsers except older Netscape. I am so sorry you are having problems with it but if I could fix it I would.
