I believe that William is the one on 1850 Census for Murray Co., GA. I don't know where he ended up marrying Glenn sisters. But it looks like it could be Murray Co.,GA., or Marshall Co., Tn. Need help please in pin-pointing this William. Is it possible that they married in Ga? William C. "Billy" James b 5/30/1830 Tenn. He married Glenn sisters Louisa Glenn - Had twin sons- John Franklin and Joseph Monroe. Louisa died in 1856. William married her sister, Sarah I. 'Sallie' Glenn. They had 3 sons - Thomas Kennedy, Everett and William "Billy"... William C. died a Conf. soldier at Clinton, La., 2/16/1863. A William James age 20 appears in the McMinn Co. census of 1850 living in the home of William and Nancy James ( I show as parents)ages 69 + 66 along with Mary James age 25 and Horace James age 19. Tenn State Archives says this is the only 20 year - old. William James in Tenn. in 1850. My family is from Marshall Co. originally Giles Co. Tenn. He lived for a while as a teenager with Billy + Sarah Few in Cornersville Tenn. Terry

Hello everyone, I am looking for information about my grandparents, Donnie (Donzella) McDonald b. 1883 TN Married William (Will) Arthur Phillips b. 1872 GA. They Married abt. 1916. I have been told they met in Chattanooga, TN but I cannot find any record for them. He died in a construction accident in 1926 so the only records I can think of to look is 1920 census and Marriage Record. I will be so grateful if anyone has the time or resources to check for me. I have been looking for a few years, I get discouraged but never give up. Thank you for your list and time. I had several people from the Murray County mailing list that were having trouble accessing my Whitfield County Web Site. I had one of the guys that had problems with it test it and he says all is cool. Hello, I am researching the Bird and Long families. Nancy Bird, Indian name, Cheasquaha/ Chesquah,b. abt. 1760 in Birdtown, Graham Co., NC. She d. abt. 1830. She had children with Josiah Long, Indian name, Cah-na-he-tah, b. abt. 1760 in NC. He d. bef. 1810 in Anson Co., NC. I am not sure Nancy and Josiah were married. They had these children: Rubin Long, b. 1779 in NC Josiah Long,b.abt. 1780 in Burke Co., NC and m. Nancy Harris John Long, b. 1784 in NC Clement Long, b. 1796 in NC Maston Long, b.
