    1. [MURRAY] Henderson Family
    2. Paula
    3. Good morning, I wanted to remind everyone that most of the Georgia AHGP web sites have places where you can post your family or school reunion or get-together for free. These can be posted state-wide from the main page at http://www.usgennet.org/usa/ga/state/ or most of the individual counties have them. You can also post them nation-wide at http://genroots.net/reunions.html The Henderson and Related Families Reunion is just a short week away. Check out the related families surname list to see if your surnames are on it at http://www.usgennet.org/usa/ga/county/whitfield/ Some of these surnames are only one person that married into the family but it never hurts to check things out. Don't miss the chance to meet new family for the failure to check this list of names. Happy hunting, Paula whitfieldkin@yahoo.com

    1. [MURRAY] McCUNE, Thomas and Martha
    2. Paula
    3. Hi, I recently found some information that tied this family in to several other north Georgia counties besides Murray. Thomas was born about 1805 and died around 1880. He and Martha had 6 children that I know of, Sarah J., Mary Elizabeth (my ggggrandmother), Martha, Nancy J., John Milton and James T. There could possibly have been others. These were listed in the 1850 census of Murray County. I would like to find out any information on Thomas and Martha and their descendants and ancestors. If anyone can help me with this I would be very grateful. Thank you, Paula

    1. [MURRAY] Murray County AHGP Updates
    2. Paula
    3. Hi, This list has been entirely too quiet this week so I figured that everyone needed something to do. I have updated several categories on the Murray County AHGP Web Site at http://www.rootsweb.com/~gamurra2/ Go by and check it out and leave your information for posting no matter how little there is of it. >From just one tiny little name that was posted to a web site this week I found a whole new branch of cousins on my Mom's side of the family. Try it and see it you too can find some "new cousins". Good luck, Paula

    1. [MURRAY] NABORS/HIXON/MAGILL
    2. Paula
    3. Dear list members... We are still searching for NABORS descendants because of the small family cemetery that is to be moved here in Dade County GA. However, according to Georgia law we are not only searching for descendants of Benjamin NABORS (Sr) and wife, Mary "Polly" SULLIVAN but those of their son, Benjamin F. NABORS as his grave can be proven. Benjamin F. NABORS (sometimes spelled NEIGHBORS) was born 6 Nov 1824 either in AL or TN... perhaps Warren Co TN. He married Harriet MAGILL, daughter of Hugh and Rebecca (---) MAGILL in Hamilton Co TN on 4 July 1869. Their known children were: Franklin, b. 1871/72; d. 14 Sept 1831 bur. in MAGILL Cemetery next to his sister-in-law, Nellie HIXON NABORS. He md. Jessie JONES on 17 March 1912 in Dade County. Believe Franklin had at least one daughter. Robert Henry, b. ca 1874; d. in Sacramento, CA; md. Nellie HIXON in Dade Co on 10 Oct 1897. There are descendants of Robert and Nellie living in Chattanooga (Hamilton Co) TN as well as Sacramento (Sacramento Co) CA. James C., b. 1876; moved to Meridian, MS sometime after 1910. There are supposed to be descendants still living in that area of MS/AL. Benjamin J., died young on 5 June 1884. There may be an older son, John B., b. 1870/71 who married Elizabeth JANNEY. Elizabeth is buried in Wildwood Cemetery. No further information on John. Benjamin F. NABORS died 10 Nov 1888 and his grave as well as the grave of the child, Benj. J., have tombstones. Former owners of the property have said that Harriett's grave was next to that of her husband, Benjamin F. but the tombstone disappeared many years ago. >From deed records, Harriett died 8 Jan 1909 in Hamilton Co TN. Again per deed records the only heirs at the time of her death were sons, Franklin, Robert and James It is also believed that Benjamin (Sr) and Mary "Polly" SULLIVAN NABORS are also buried here. Benjamin (Sr) and Mary NABORS' children were Margaret who md David TITTLE, lived in Hamilton Co. Descendants of this couple are scattered from TN, to FL to TX. Barthana/Bartheny md Norman (Warren) SAVAGE of Warren Co TN. This couple was living in Hamilton Co TN in 1850, 60. Barthana was the only child mentioned in her father's will other than her brother, Benjamin (Jr) who was executor. She and Norman were the parents of several children. Martha who married John WALLEN. There still should be descendants of this couple living in the area of Dade Co and Hamilton Co. A "letter-to-the-editor" was sent to the CHATTANOOGA FREE PRESS asking for assistance. However, the newspaper editor refused to publish it. If anyone has any information, please contact me at sueforrester@hotmail.com or by calling 706-398-3340. If calling please leave a message on how to return your call. Thank you for any help you might be able to give. Sue

    3. This is a hoax. The Symantec web page (URL follows) explains the hoax. Just access the web page, select "Search Virus Encyclopedia", then look for the name of the "virus" - in this case, jdbgmgr. It explains this virus/hoax and is one of several good sites for future questions about viruses - http://www.symantec.com/ ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jaquetta Thompson" <kessie@3rivers.net> To: <GAMURRAY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, May 25, 2002 12:18 PM Subject: [MURRAY] (no subject) > Subject: > FW: VIRUS ALERT! > Date: > Sat, 25 May 2002 10:16:14 -0700 > From: > "C P Barnes" <cpbarnes@saw.net> > To: > "Jaquelta Thompson" <kessie@3rivers.net>, > "Dwight - Trudy Pascoe" <pascoe2@earthlink.net>, > "Don & Janet Harlan" <jandon@sierratel.com>, > "Larry Clinton" <lc99@earthlink.net>, > "Catherine Briley" <kitkat22@earthlink.net>, > "Jim & Brenda" <MAMAWOFMANY@aol.com>, > "Karen Barnes" <kebarnes@juno.com> > > > > > > Subject: VIRUS ALERT! > > > > Hi Everyone > > A virus has been sent to me which affects > the email address book. > > The virus called jdbgmgr.exe is not detected > by the Norton or Mcaffee anti virus systems. > > The virus sits quietly for 14 days before damaging the > system.
