    1. Re: [MURRAY] John B. Williamson
    2. Hi, Bill, Marty Farmer's mother was Sarah Bright. Sarah's father was Daniel Bright -- my line is from him. I have info on Sarah and her husband Thomas J. -- do you need it? In 1870, Mary Williamson was living with her mother at census time. Look in Spring Place. I have no idea where her husband was or where she was in 1880. I have Mary's siblings, if you need them. Langston who still lives in Spring Place? She is about 85 years old and was the best friend of my aunt when they were kids. I have visited with her in her home and she is a delight. 2. Thanks for directions and the name of the college. I have not been to Dalton in over 15 years. I also went to Athens. Great library at the college there. They had the fed census in book form, which really helps. Helps the eyes and they list in the index everyone. I was looking for minor children living with an unknown Uncle and they were listed in the books. Couldn't find them on the microfilm census. Anyone looking for Georgia or area, it's a great library. 3. Wow! Ask and you shall receive or something like that. JC--According to my mother, who is the only living source I have, Minnie Ora died in Georgia and Meadie (James Meda Jr.) came to Texas with Samuel and Mary and the rest of the kids around 1910. He was raised as a child of the family instead of a grandchild. I didn't know about the other son. My mother says that the best she can remember, James Meda Sr. was a hoodlum of sorts and just ran off. Meadie married Lola and they lived in Santa Anna, TX for a long time where he was an auto mechanic. I think they had 3 children and the youngest, Mary Jo, was my mother's best friend. She was killed in a car accident many years ago. How are you connected to these folks? Nancy -- you are right about Aunt Maude. I forgot about her. We live near McGregor and as soon as I have time, I want to do the cemetary thing. How are you connected? Are you interested in Springfields? I'll share what I can. 3. I am trying to find information on the Springfield family who lived in or around Spring Place, Murray Co., GA in the late 1800's. My grandmother, Ethel Mae Springfield was born there and the family moved to Texas around 1910. The family left behind 3 or 4 children who had died before the move. I am trying to find these missing children. One daughter, Maudie (?) Springfield Bishop, was old enough to have a child before her death and the child made the move to Texas with the family. I am also interested in what happened to Mr. Bishop. Any help anyone could provide would be appreciated. Cindy Moore
