    1. [MURRAY] Caylor: need help distinguishing names
    2. D.K. Pritchett
    3. I am researching Headricks, Dunns, and Pritchetts, but have come across several Caylors as spouses: HEADRICK-CAYLOR: Marriage Book 5, Murray Co., Georgia: 1875-1883, p.96, John E. Headrick to Polly Ann Caler, 22 Oct 1876, married by Giles Dunn, MG. I have the above Polly listed as Mary Ann "Polly" Caylor and have her husband, John, as the son of my 2x great-gf., William M. Headrick, though my data is pretty skimpy. Does anyone know how or if this Mary Caylor fits in with the other Caylors being discussed? ================================== DUNN-CAYLOR and HEADRICK-CAYLOR: I have from one source that William (b.1810) and Rhoda Dunn Caylor's son William (b.1848) married Mary Jane unknown and had a son, Andrew Caylor. (Andrew married Effie Mae Stephenson on 11 Sep 1896 in Murray Co.) This fits in with facts that I have on Eliza Headrick, b.02 Apr 1873, d.29 Feb 1944, daughter of Jane Mullinax and Bill Caylor (from Eliza's death certificate). This makes it appear that Andrew and Eliza Caylor are siblings. Eliza married one G.L. Headrick. There is a Green L. Headrick with spouse, Eliza, buried at Sumach Presbyt. Church Cem., Murray Co.--that tombstone certainly seems to fit this Eliza. My problem is that others have given me Green L. Headrick's spouse as Elizabeth "Lizzie" Dunn, daughter of Daniel and Mary Patty Dunn. Still others have this same Elizabeth "Lizzie" Dunn as marrying an unknown Johnson. I suspect that someone has confused Lizzie and Eliza, who are probably two different individuals; but it is also possible that Green and/or Eliza married more than once. Can anyone clarify the facts on this? I'd like to hear from a direct descendant of any one of these individuals! If my research is correct, I descend from Daniel Dunn, Jr. and spouse, Susannah Parman Dunn through their son, Joseph Perry Dunn (brother of the Rhoda Jane Dunn that married William John Caylor). I am trying to get enough information on Joseph P.'s siblings and nephews to distinguish between all these Dunns, Headricks and Caylors, who had very similar Christian names. I have thirteen William Dunns, seven Rhoda Dunns, eight William Caylors, and two Perry Dunns, all inter-related with my main lines. If I can get enough data on their spouses and siblings, I can combine at least two of my separate Williams into one individual, or eliminate some of the Rhodas from my search for spouses. D.K. 3. I haven't done much research on Caylors or Lackeys, but I keep picking up the name from Headrick, Dunn and Pritchett research, in several separate lines. I'm connecting the dots as I can find them. I have one census listing: 1860 census, Murray County, Georgia, p.132 [orig. census pg.], 874 Dist. G.M., Cohuttah Springs P.O., dwelling no. 930, family no. 873, Rhoda Calor, aged 50, and children, Eli, Livi, James and William. >From other Internet family researchers, I was given Mark, Daniel, George, John and Susan as siblings of Eli, Levi and Mary. I was given William and Rhoda Dunn Caylor as the parents, but have not documented it. I have the date of Levi's marriage to Annie Emaline Lackey as 10 Sep 1865 in Murray Co., GA. I have Eli's spouse as Mary A. Dunn. Two of their children, Luke and E. Clarence Caylor, married Pritchetts. Does anyone know Annie Emaline Lackey's parents and/or siblings? D.K.
