This is my first experience with the Morgan County group of researchers. I hope you can be some help to me. My husband's great grandfather was Millard F. Butts. He was born in Madison in July of 1859. By the 1900 Census he had moved with his wife and children to Milledgeville. He was the overseer of the McMillan Brickyard. I believe that Mr. McMillan orginally started his business in Madison and then later moved it to the Milledgeville area. Millard was married to Callie Holman sometime around the year 1875. I would like to know more about Millard--who were his parents and siblings. I would also like to know more about research facilities in Morgan County (I live in Augusta, about an hour away).
