Probably of no help to you, but you mentioned Davis and Morgan Co. It is possible that my Robert H. Davis married Sarah Gunnells in Morgan Co., GA in 1814. Their first child was Jan 1816 which works out fine. At least some people of those names were married there. Does anyone have any information for the time period for Morgan Co. for around 1814?
