Armstead Hanson (b. 1796 in VA) married Jane Petty (daughter of Ambrose b. abt. 1805 in NC) in Morgan Co, GA on February 18, 1821. I would love to exchange information with anyone having any information on these families. I have hit a brick wall with trying to find Armstead's parents. I believe his father was either Tapley Hanson or James Hanson, sons of Robert of Fauquier Co, VA.
