I am a descendant of Joel GAAR, b: 1783 in Elbert Co, GA; d: about 1824 in Morgan Co, GA. I have been thinking that I was descended from his wife Lucy HEAD. However, I've just run across a marriage record of a Joel GAAR and Catherine KENDRICK m. 1816 and I don't know how this fits in. If someone out there has worked on these lines, would you please contact me. I'm trying to determine if perhaps these are two different Joel GAARs or if my info on Lucy Head is incorrect.
