His wife's name was Allander (Ellender/Eleanor), and his six children were named: William, Elizabeth (Betsy), Margaret H. (Peggy), Mary (Polly), Joseph, Jr. & Allander (Ellender/Eleanor/Nelly). We know that Joseph Moore, Sr.'s daughter Allander Moore was born in Wilkes County, GA in 1788. Elizabeth Moore married Benjamin Stringfellow (date and place unknown); Mary Moore married Henry Stringfellow in Oglethorpe County, GA in 1797; and Allander Moore married Robert McNeely in Oglethorpe County, GA in 1803. We know that Joseph Moore, Jr, and his mother, Allander Moore, and possibly his brother, William Moore, were living in Morgan County, GA in 1810.
