This name is frequently transcribed as Thomas. In particular a Samuel Thames is listed on the 1818 tax list of Morgan County. He is not listed on any other year's tax list for Morgan. I would like to know if there are any deeds/land records for Samuel Thames or anyone else by the Thames name prior to 1830. Any help is most appreciated.
