I have the information on Nathaniel Green FOSTER (1809-1869) but about 150 years before your father hit this world. Your FOSTER could have been out of any one of the kids of the Arthur FOSTER family and only the Lord knows which one.... He also could have been out of a completely different FOSTER family that just used this name but my guess is the former. Nathaniel Green and Albert Gallatin FOSTER were well known Attorneys, congressmen and judges from the family of Arthur FOSTER, Jr (1757-1840) RS-VA and his first wife, Hannah JOHNSON. NG married Margaret E. VINSON and AG married Caroline COLBERT. NG had only one son, Percy and he died, age 8 in 186, according to my information. AG (1816-1880) had a son, that I know of, Frederick Colbert FOSTER, Sr. born 1845 and he had a son named, Frederick Colbert FOSTER, Jr. born 1875. I am sure both may have had other children that I do not know of..... they also had a 1/2 brother named Arthur Thomas FOSTER but I do not know what happened to him. I track them because they were connected to my RICHTER family, friends anyway, and the FOSTERS were also members of the American Party and so were my DANIEL bunch down in Jefferson County, GA -- my grandmother's family....
