    3. Hi, My bet on these BEASLEYS is they are descended from John BEASLEY (1704-1801) and Sarah LISLE of Chowan, NC. All of the names you mention are family names in this BEASLEY family. I know that most of this family migrated to Emanuel County, GA -- James and William BEASLEY where they were collateral in various ways with my DANIEL family, a family which also had roots in Morgan County, GA. The mention of Clarke County, GA also interests me because my DANIEL bunch may also have connections to Clarke County, GA. Dr. Anne KILPATRICK (b. 1910), my cousin, told me a story a few years ago. She said that when he was in graduate school in the late 1930's her parents, Irby Thomas KILPATRICK (1872-1949) and Eva Pauline RICHTER (1875-1943), bought the home of their son-in-law, UGA Coach Harry MEHRE (1901-1978) in Athens. Harry had married Anne's older sister, Hallie KILPATRICK (1902-1990). Eva RICHTER was the d/o Martin L. RICHTER, Sr. (1846-1924) and Hallie Elise RIVERS (1850-1935) of Madison. Anyway, behind their home in Athens lived a DANIEL family with which they shared a back alley and this DANIEL family lived in about the 700 block of South Milledge Avenue. She also told me that her mother stated this DANIEL family was related to her. The only DANIEL family related to Eva was my DANIEL family so I must assume this DANIEL family was related to the family of my grandmother, Alice Elizabeth DANIEL (1854-1924) who married John C. RICHTER, Sr. of Madison in 1872. Alice Daniel RICHTER would have been Eva's aunt, by marriage. It took me a while to find out who this DANIEL family was but they were descendents of Robert Greir DANIELL and Anne Elizabeth JENNINGS and this Robert descended from William DANIELL, Sr. (1743-1840) of Bogart, Oconee County, GA. We know that his son, William DANIELL, Jr. (1767-1831), also moved to Emanuel County, GA where he was sheriff and clerk, as well as being a Baptist minister. We also know that William DANIELL, Sr. moved to Burke County, GA ABT 1785 and then on to Bogart by 1787, which was then located in Clarke County, GA. The best information I have is that my DANIEL bunch descends from Robert C. DANIEL or DANIELL (ABT 1765-AFT 1830) who moved to Burke County, GA ABT 1810 from NC. In 1820 this Robert C. DANIELL lived adjacent to the parents and their in-laws (the BYNES) of John Byne WALKER (1805-1884), later of Madison, who married Eliza Saffold FANNIN (1815-1867) ABT 1830. His brother, Edmund B. WALKER also relocated to Madison, GA. So, as you can see -- there was a big migration from NC to Burke County, GA to Madison, GA in this period and this may be also part of the same migration your BEASLEY bunch went through. I also know the 1924 obit of my grandmother, Alice Elizabeth DANIEL, nee RICHTER, nee JONES, written by close family friend, the Hon. William Thomas BACON, stated she descended from one of the founding families of Morgan County but I have no idea which one. I hope this helps to shows that not all families in Morgan County arrived on the same UFO and they also lived in other locations before finally arriving in Madison....<grin> .... John R.
