Good Evening, We are having some real difficult straightening out the BURNEY family of Greene County, GA. I am sure they are somehow tied to the CUNNINGHAMS of Greene County, GA, as well as the RANDLES and DANIELS. I am sure they are also part of the BURNEY family of Morgan County, GA. Much information says that Thomas DANIEL (ABT 1740-1813) of Greene County, GA was married to a Sarah BURNEY but there is also some mention he was married to a Sarah RANDLE. We are trying to assign this Thomas to a DANIEL family but if he was married to a BURNEY then he was probably a NC DANIEL but if he was married to a RANDLE, then he was probably a VA DANIEL.
