He was a Civil War Veteran having served in Co. H, 27th New Jersey Infantry. He lived on a plantation about 10 miles south of Madison, Georgia. I do not know his date of death but I am reasonably sure it was after 1900. Any information about him and where he is buried would be appreciated.
