AGF was born 1816 in Greene County, GA the son of Arthur FOSTER RS-VA and Hannah JOHNSON. He married Caroline COLBERT (1823-1916) before 1845. He died 6 Jul 1880 in Madison, Morgan County, GA. I have a copy of a 1915 hand written letter from Caroline Colbert FOSTER to my great-grand aunt, Anna Maria Richter MUSTIN (1836-1925) on the death of Anna's daughter, Frances Beatrice Mustin ALSTON (1862-1915). I have always thought your FOSTERS and my DANIEL bunch may have known each other or were related in some way. The reason being is that my GGU, James L. DANIEL (1814-1857) of Bethany, Jefferson County, GA was a delegate to the American Party Conference and the FOSTERS were big American Party members. My granmother, Alice Elizabeth DANIEL (1854-1924), daughter of Robert W. DANIEL, Esq. (1809-1865) and Mary Jane RENEAU or Bethany, Jefferson County, GA married John C. RICHTER, Sr. (1848-1907) of Madison -- a younger brother of Anna Maria RICHTER who I referenced, previously. I only have the name of one son of AFG and CC and he was Frederick Colbert FOSTER, Sr (1845-1916). I know he had a son bor 1876 but I have no other information on this FOSTER family
