Robert, I have never seen the name, HAMLET or Germany in or around Morgan County but the HEARD name is a prominent name, as is the JOHNSTON or JOHNSON name. Are you a descendant of Lancelot JOHNSTON, often shortened to JOHNSON. I also know the FITZPATRICKS went to Chambers County, AL and some of the JOHNSTONS went to Columbus.
