Hi, Broughton Plantation was not totally in Morgan County but along the border of Morgan and Jasper down in the Shady Dale, GA area. I would take a look at the records in Jasper County, GA, too. There were BROUGHTONS in Morgan County but most of the activity of this family seems to have been down in the SW area of the county, as it borders Jasper County, GA. John R.
