    3. I am always hoping for a miracle. Someone will be looking for Kimbrel, Kirby, Shackelford or Williams information. These are my line and all went through Morgan or got married there. I will start using more, I promise. I do have a Mary L. Williams b. Nov. 25, 1817 in Morgan County, GA. Does anyone have a lead on her. She is a very important like in other line hunt. 1. Re: [GAMORGAN-L] Roll Call - LEMMOND, TOMLIN, PARKER, MOON
    2. Bill & Jan Breedlove
    3. I'm looking for the parents of Robert Lee LEMMOND, b. 1804 in Morgan Co. In land records I've found both a Joseph and a William LEMMOND between 1800 and 1830, but have not been able to prove either as a parent of Robert Lee. Robert m. Elizabeth TOMLIN in 1829 and they had the following children: William Allen, John Lamar, Temperance, Susan Frances, Almedia Antoinette, and Jesse Robert LEMMOND. William Allen m. Emily Beth PARKER, John Lamar m. Mary MOON, Susan Frances m. James WHITLEY, Almedia m. John TRAYLOR, and Jesse Robert m. Carnelia Jane HARRIS. Before the Civil War the family had moved west to Randolph Co., AL, where Robert Lee and all three of his sons volunteered to serve for the CSA. By the late 1870s the three sons had begun the trek (separately) to the west, living for a few years in Pontotoc Co., MS and then heading on to their final destinations in Wood, Upshur and Delta Counties in northeast TX. The father, Robert Lee, d. and is buried in Randolph Co., AL. Daughters Susan and Almedia both married and remained in Randolph Co. I suspect that Robert Lee's parents may have come from NC, where the LEMMOND surname proliferates around Mecklenburg Co., but at least some of them were in Morgan Co., GA, from 1800 - 1855. 3. I don't see Samuel's WILL registered in my GA Will directory, but I do have a 26 page hand-written family history of Samuel and Sarah Arrington. It includes ancestors and descendants of Samuel and Sarah. I obtained it from the Vertical Files at the Statesboro Library. It was compiled from ....sources unknown(not listed)....by Donald Stephen Charles of Lithonia GA, but seems to be "authorative..." I am also interested in any MALLORY-STOVALL info from Morgan County and surrounding area.
