Elbert County, GA Charles W Haynes married in 1833 in Elbert County, GA to FLORA McCURRY, b. 1808, Elbert County - d. after 1870, Monroe County (?) daughter of ANGUS McCURRY, b. April 9, 1743, Kilfinn, Argyleshire, Scotland - d. abt Sept 1841, Elbert County. and Flora McDonald McDougal, b. ? in Scotland - d. abt 1819 in Elbert County. Charles & Flora moved from Elbert County to Monroe County sometime after their marriage in 1833, after Charles was awarded some Georgia Land Lotteries in Monroe County.
